a non-profit organization dedicated to culturally providing youth & teens with supervised, fundamental learning experiences in a sports and enrichment program settings. 480 CARES always focuses on the positive, fun aspects of learning, enabling each youth to enjoy the instruction and develop both their aptitude and self-confidence, leadership, health & wellness, academic success, and life value that each minute that matters.

providing positive youth development, social & emotional and academic supports to minority male students at Gaithersburg Middle School

 is to support and engage emerging young men & women to be successful both on and off the playing field. At 480 CARES, safety & fun are taken seriously, but participation, effort, and good sportsmanship are emphasized over and above winning. Participants discover the importance of every minute matters.

 an intramural program during the school day that focuses on character building, sportsmanship, positive leadership development, and positive group and self identity versus the traditional competitive scoreboard to build school engagement and improved school climate for all.
